RIDES 2026 to Host 1,000+ Civil Engineering Professionals in Hyderabad
Hyderabad, November 3, 2026: The Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (India) (ACCE(I)), Hyderabad Centre, is set to organise RIDES-2026 – Conference of Civil Engineers, along with Build-Tech Expo 2026, on November 26 and 27 at the Engineering Staff College of India (ESCI), Gachibowli, Hyderabad.
The two-day event is expected to attract over 1,000 participants, including civil engineers, structural engineers, architects, contractors, industry leaders, academicians, researchers and students. The conference will focus on emerging technologies, innovative construction practices, climate-resilient infrastructure and sustainable engineering solutions.
The conference will feature eminent national and international experts. Prof. Sunaina Singh, former Vice-Chancellor of Nalanda University, will deliver the keynote address on the restoration, rehabilitation and remodelling of the historic Nalanda structures dating back to 415 BC.
Dr. Pradeep Kumar Ramancharla of CSIR-CBRI, Roorkee, will speak on climate-resilient infrastructure, disaster preparedness and earthquake and flood risks. Dr. Sandeep Shirkhedkar will highlight the applications of LiDAR, GIS and Digital Twin technologies in infrastructure development, while Prof. Dr.-Ing. Marwan Alzaylaie will discuss advanced deep foundation engineering.
Other experts, including Dr. V. Rajendran, Dr. N. Ananda Valli, Director of CSIR-SERC, Chennai, and Dr. Mohammed Sajid Abbasi, will share insights into structural rehabilitation, structural health monitoring and long-span spatial structures.
Technical sessions will also cover digital engineering, BIM-integrated design, 3D concrete printing, high-rise plumbing, sustainable green roofs, vertical transportation and composite structures.
With increasing challenges from climate change, extreme weather conditions, rapid urbanisation and ageing infrastructure, RIDES-2026 aims to encourage innovative approaches and sustainable practices in the civil engineering sector. It will also provide a platform for interaction and knowledge sharing among industry, academia and government representatives.
Build-Tech Expo 2026, organised alongside the conference, will showcase innovative construction materials, advanced machinery, engineering software, sustainable building solutions and emerging technologies. The exhibition will facilitate product demonstrations, networking and business opportunities and will also be open to the public.
