EKA MOBILITY OPENS SECOND SHOWROOM IN HYDERABAD, PLANS 20 MORE OUTLETS ACROSS TELANGANA IN 18 MONTHS
Hyderabad, November 6, 2026: SKED Rides Pvt. Ltd., the authorised Telangana dealer for EKA Mobility’s electric commercial vehicles, inaugurated its second showroom in Hyderabad at Kachiguda, beside Patel’s Delights, Nimboliadda, on Friday.
The showroom was formally inaugurated by Venkat Kulluri, MLA, Amberpet, in the presence of Prithvi Reddy, Managing Director, and Manoj Kothari and Rajender Kothari, Executive Directors of SKED Rides Pvt. Ltd.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Venkat Kulluri said that electric mobility is the need of the hour and stressed the importance of adopting sustainable transportation solutions.
The newly opened showroom is an exclusive outlet for electric autorickshaws and features EKA Mobility’s latest offering, the EKA AVI 3S electric autorickshaw, which was recently launched in Hyderabad. With its car-like styling, spacious interiors and distinctive AC-DC charging capability, the vehicle aims to reduce charging time and help commercial drivers maximise their earning potential.
Speaking at the inauguration, Prithvi Reddy said that the Kachiguda showroom is the company’s second outlet in Hyderabad, following its first showroom in Kukatpally. As part of its ambitious expansion strategy, the company plans to establish five showrooms in Hyderabad and another 15 across other parts of Telangana, taking the total to 20 new outlets over the next 18 months.
He further explained that Pune-based EKA Mobility is an electric vehicle manufacturer offering technology-driven and sustainable mobility solutions, including electric buses, trucks and small commercial vehicles for passenger and cargo transportation, including last-mile delivery.
Manoj Kothari added that EKA Mobility offers one of the widest ranges of electric commercial vehicles in the country. The company has also secured an order for 915 electric buses from the Telangana Government, reflecting its growing presence in the state’s electric mobility sector.
As part of its market expansion strategy, EKA Mobility has set an ambitious target of selling 2,500 electric autorickshaws in Telangana during its first year of operations, further strengthening its commitment to accelerating the transition towards cleaner and greener transportation.
